Unveils the secret of Arabic Language

We went back early today as there were no more classes in for this trimester. Alhamdulillah, I managed to finish all the syllabus within 7 weeks and students may have 1 more week to make preparation on their own for the coming final examination. Hubby on the other side, would have just need to be the one-and-only panel for the presentation in his class, Arabic for Communication and Culture.

Our first step was fecthing up the two princess, Widaad and Wafa'.Driving towards the babysitter's house, we saw a long trailer...I started to break the ice, "If Widaad is here, she surely will point her cute fingers to the trailer, saying ...CAR..CARRR....!!":)

My cute toddler now can recognise only bus, car and motor. Any lorry, trailer, pick up or other mobile passed her sight would be considered as car, since she seldom see those vehicles. That's how children learn in fact, by observing. The more frequent they see things, the easier and faster they can learn to recognise them.

Hubby then added, how does car...gets his name? Why do we call car as CAR? The same goes to Malay Language. Why on earth do we pronounce the car as KERETA?Where do we get the name from?

Hubby started his preach:) In science view, how do you get the embryo name?If you asked those scientist, most probably they would say, in science, terms are created by the name of whom discover the invention.

Arabic Language is different and very unique.Any name given was actually with very valid reasons. Pouting...I began to ask few things , and suprisingly ..indeed, we call them by reasons! WOw....UNBELEIVABLE...Arabic Language is indeed a quran language. ..So wonderful and magic:)

Bet you all want to know, what questions did I asked hubby?Let's take a good look into it........

1 Kereta - Car - Sayyarah

5 Henfon - Handphone - Jawwal
Meaning: Things that can be bring anywhere

6 Masa - Time - A'sru
Meaning: From the word A'sar: Squeeze. We need to squeeze the time
in order to get something. Those who take forgranted of the
time, he will not get a good result.

7 Kejayaan - Success - Al-falah
Meaning : Falah means planters (petani)
.If planters want to get good and quality plants, they have to plant properly,

Perbezaan Cara Solat Perempuan dgn Solat Lelaki

Sharing is Caring.. I found this article to be very interesting.Ladies out there, I am not an ustazah or a religious teacher, just would like to share with you all a beneficial article so that we can enhance our knowledge in Islam :) Knowledge is Power:)

Taken this article from "Al Fiqh Al Manhaji, Mazhab al-Syafie:Jilid 1 by Dr Mustafa Alkhin, Dr. Mustafa AL Bugha & Dr Ali Al Syarbaji"

Orite...for your information, this article was taken word by word by me from the article. So no worries of the wrong facts (except typo error, if any). Nonetheless, the article is quite long, so I took only the points, and if you are interested to know any dalil behind all the 5 points , you can directly ask me:) (the book is with me)

Another Test for us to be stronger...

Diagram of a normal heart : However, the baby's ventricle is smaller than usual causing problem to the heart's job to pump out oxygen throughout the body.

Subhanallah..again ...A huge test from the Almighty transited our family. This time, my bro's baby. My sis in law, expecting 6 months was diagnosed to have fetal heart problem. Test after test had been done at specialist..At the end, it is revealed that their baby had hyperplasic ventricle or Ebstein anomaly.

Hyperplasia (or "hypergenesis") is a general term referring to the proliferation of cells within an organ or tissue beyond that which is ordinarily seen (e.g. constantly dividing cells). In other words, there is an increase in the number of cells in the baby’s ventricle. Baby is having a small ventricle, which is very significant for breathing system. The right ventricle is one of four chambers (two atria and two ventricles) in the human heart. It receives deoxygenated blood from the right atrium via the tricuspid valve, and pumps it into the pulmonary artery via the pulmonary valve and pulmonary trunk.

What are the ventricles of the heart?
The heart is divided into four chambers that are connected by heart valves. The lower two chambers of the heart are called ventricles. They are separated by a septum into the left ventricle and the right ventricle. The upper two heart chambers are called atria. Atria receive blood returning to the heart from the body and ventricles pump blood from the heart to the body. Due to the force needed to pump blood to the body, ventricles have thicker walls than do atria.
Function of the Ventricles
The ventricles of the heart function to pump blood to the entire body.
Right ventricle: Receives blood from the right atrium and pumps it to the main pulmonary artery. The main pulmonary artery extends from the right ventricle and branches into left and right pulmonary arteries, which extend to the lungs. Here oxygen-poor blood picks up oxygen and is returned to the heart via the pulmonary veins.
Left ventricle: Receives blood from the left atrium and pumps it to the aorta. The aorta carries and distributes oxygen-rich blood to the rest of the body.

As for that, the baby could have breathing problem, could easily tired due to the less oxygen pump into the body or worse comes to worst, could have a short survival period…Dr. said at the moment, the baby would not feel or have any problem since he is depending on the mother’s womb. Once he is out, he would not be like other babies. Wallahu A’lam wa Bissowab…Allah knows better..

Of course the whole family of us are worried. The next test will be done this coming Thursday whereby doctor suggested to obtain some of my sis in law’s amniotic fluid to check the baby’s chromosome. This is done to ensure that there is no syndrome related to the illness. And to do this, Dr. did reminded, there will be some side effects to the baby such as there may be some internal bleeding etc…..Astaqfirullah hal A’zeem…

Dear Allah, please protect the baby..

Dear Allah, please help Najib and Yus to be strong and accept this as a test from You.

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
1. Praise be to God, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the world; 2. Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3. Master of the Day of Judgment 4. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5. Show us the straight way 6. The way of those on whom 7. Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. ۞1

Big Sis

She is now big sis. Me and hubby , we were so lucky that Widaad does not have sense of envy or jealousy towards her lil sis. In fact, she does loves her so much and could be count to whenever she is needed to take care of her lil sis (but only for few minutes, dont ever leave her alone with her sis more than 3 minutes...hahahah....)

Zoom in Amal Wafa'

She is now may actually be able to show her recognition towards me:) Subhanalllah...she frequently smile to exhibit an obvious recognition of her parents.Sweet..very sweet:)

Sometimes, she will probably continue to smile at strangers, especially when they look her straight in the eye and coo or talk to her.

At this point of time, she may quiet down and make eye contact with me, or she may search for me in a room whenever I were not in the catch of her eyes. The most excitement part is that she move her arms in excitement or smile when she finds me!! Somehow, when she cries that she can't find me, even I was behind her, she'll stop crying. Perhaps, she recognise me by my scent.... calming and comforting, maybe:)

Babies simply love to be touched..In fact, they thrive on it — touch is a critical part of growth and development. Same goes to Wafa'. All that skin-to-skin contact not only helps me and my baby bond, but it's comforting when she's upset and soothing when she's irritable.

She can now wave her arms and pump her legs. And as her hip and knee joints become more flexible, her kicks are getting stronger. Not only that, she can also bring both hands together and open and close her fingers.

Dear Amal Wafa', enjoy thy babies though it will not stay:) Umi and Walid will always there for you sayang!!

Allah knows the best!!

It has been a while that I don’t really-really cry, until I asked for hubby shoulders for me to cry on. My ante-natal follow-up yesterday was really sickening. I received very sorrow news from the doctor.

My baby has SGA or "small-for-gestational-age" which means the baby is too small due to growth restriction inside the womb. During this week (35 weeks of pregnancy) , she is supposed to be 2.5 kg, but then she turned out to weight only 2kg. Dr. said my body weight keep on increasing, yet the baby isn’t absorbing the nutrient from my food intake.

Dr. Hanisah (O&G specialist at PMH) also revealed that my amniotic fluid is decreasing. Last two weeks when we left for follow-up check up , it was 14. And yesterday, it declined to 10.9. Dr. Hanisah mentioned that when the amniotic fluid reaches below 10, then it should be something to be concerned because baby could breathe her last breath due to lacking of amniotic fluid.

Due to the two reasons, my follow-up appointment is set to be on next week to monitor the amniotic fluid. Let say, if it is still declining, delivery is the best solution. Of course I am shocked!!! Questions approaching my mind. Deliver at week 36? What’s wrong with my baby? Why isn’t she absorbing my nutrient? Is she ok? What would be the risk if she’s born earlier?

To avoid sudden death, doctor urged me to carefully count the baby movement every single day until the next check up. In case there is any irregular, slow and less than 10 movements within 12 hours, I should set out directly to the emergency room to deliver. Along with that..Dr. suggested me to opt a caesarean delivery since the baby is premature and isn’t strong enough to stand the pain of induce, or normal delivery.

My hubby and I, both of us were very upset, worried and anxious. Hubby does not talk much about it, perhaps does not want to show his panicky in front of me. He used to be that way, prefer not to express his feelings. But, deep inside, I know…he is concerned, his actions speaks for that. Contradict to me, I just can’t help myself to hide my depress, as I cried as much as possible to release my tension.

What we can do now, is just pray to the Allah for the best. We agreed to this as a test from Allah, a test from the Creator to His Creations. Insyaallah…God knows the best.

Hope to The Only Allah

I am today 34 weeks ( 8 months plus). By this time, I always have this Braxton Hicks, which is a sporadic uterine contractions. In the days or weeks before labor, Braxton Hicks contractions may intermittently become rhythmic, relatively close together, and even painful, possibly fooling you into thinking you're in labor. But unlike true labor, during this so-called false labor the contractions don't grow consistently longer, stronger, and closer together......The painful that I have experienced, God knows. I sometimes can't sleep well because of this symptom.

Nevertheless, hubby helps alot. He's the one who take care of Widad throughout the night, wake up to prepare milk for her, change diapers when she's wet and manage most of the household chores. Alhamdulillah...tahmid to Allah.

Me myself, I believe I am more sensitive, down and hopeless at the moment. With the increasing weight now, sometimes make very unhappy. I am big,my stomach is receiving more and more strechmark, lots of dark area at my body, everything make my appearance very ugly, I believe. Especially when people around keep telling, "you look big!", "ouhh...this time your stomach is bigger!" all those words which actually does not mean to hurt my feelings, indeed give some impact. I don't know. !@&*($^&@%^&* ..ooo Allah, guide me towards the real path.

The fear of giving birth always appear uninvitedly. I am really scared if I would have the same experience like I was delivering Widad. Goodness...the phobia is still in the air.Every single moment in the labor room is still fresh and green in my mind. Giving birth without husband to support me, lack of bed in the labor room, the painn....Allahu Akbar!!!

The best I could do is to munajat to the only Allah, He gives the best to us. We, as human being..just plan, He's the one who decide everything, and all His decisions, are the best. It's just that we might not see the hidden beauty behind His fate yet.

I leave everything to Allah. InsyaAllah...victory will be mine:)
